We'd booked the hotel through last minute and were looking forward to our break. We stayed at The Lygon for only 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were great, the maitre de was outstanding small in stature big in professionalism. The rest of the staff were courtious and helpful definately go again. Food and drink on the heavy side but you check it out first. Recommend it well done Bacelo. more

Be wary of this hotel. It's in a beautiful location and looks great. Until, that is, they stick you one of the modern annexe rooms. Stayed here as part of a tour around the Cotswolds. Got a good deal through lastminute.com and stayed in one of the 'new' rooms at the back of the hotel.
