Dropped in to view the main street of Broadway and decided to have afternoon tea at the well known Lygon Arms. Perfectly nice surroundings with many staff. Order taken for afternoon tea and in reasonable time the table was laid and the tea served. Despite the same waiter passing several times no afternoon tea goodies arrived. Advised staff at the... Spent two nights as a couple with our dog. Hotel is very welcoming for dog owners. They are allowed everywhere on a lead, except of course the main restaurant. You can eat with them in the bar and surrounding areas. The hotel has a pool which we used. It is ok but could be a little cleaner, nothing to worry... More

A fine and classy hotel in a beautiful village . Food excellent and the service here is exceptional. Use their spa for relaxing therapy and beauty treatments or relax round the pool with a glass of champagne. Glorious gardens and, if in the mood, a croquet lawn and tennis court. Although we had one or two small complaints they were... More

We stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary. We were greeted with chocolates and a card in our room, which was also upgraded from standard! The hotel itself has charm and huge history, you can smell the oldness when you walk in. The swimming pool and hot tub were wonderful, the whole stay was fantastic, we wish we had stayed... More

We stayed on a B&B basis in late May. I have stayed here a few times on business and the same mix of history, elegance and peace & quiet abounded. Wooden panelling, oak beams and creaking staircases are complemented by an attentive staff and the loveliest High Street in England. The village is many people's idea of "The Cotswolds" with... More

My partner and I (both aged 50) stayed at the Lygon Arms last week for a two night stay on Tesco Clubcard vouchers. For £15 extra per night we were able to take our little dog with us. In view of the dog, it was good that we were allocated a very comfortable room in the pretty thatched Orchard Cottage... More

We were looking for a 1 night anniversary break in the Cotswolds and chose the Lygon Arms because of its character. Chocolates in the room on arrival with ‘happy anniversary’ greetings and a complimentary upgrade were well received. Other reviewers have accurately described the look and appeal of this historic, charming, wisteria clad property as well as Broadway itself. Room... More

A Hotel full of character and charm. Steeped in History, visited by King Charles 1 and Oliver Cromwell. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend to celebrate our anniversary, we were greeted by very friendly staff who wished us Happy Anniversary and a complementary drink on arrival which is very rare in today's standards....
