We arrived for sunday lunch to start our 3 night break. The pub was festively decorated with a lovely coal fire burning. A glass of mulled wine to soak up the Christmas atmosphere went down well. The lunch was very tasty. Our room had a beautiful carved bed and wardrobe. Nice light fittings a tapestry wall hanging and soft fluffy... more

On our arrival at the Crown & Trumpet we were welcomed with a very friendly atmosphere and a glass of hot mulled wine went down a treat. Our 2 night stay was everything we had hoped for. A very comfortable bedroom, excellent food and good real ales. The location of the pub is in a very pretty village and we... more

Just returned from a two night weekend break . Most previous reports are true. On arrival, we were given a warm welcome. The excellent hospitality from Andrew and his staff continued throughout the stay. Good quality food and comfortable rooms. If you want a really good country pub, full of character, serving excellent real ales, this is it. KEEP UP... more

We stayed at the Crown and Trumpet for four nights and had a great time. All the staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. We had booked bed and breakfast with the intention of exploring other places for our evening meal, however we found the meals at the Crown and Trumpet so good and such excellent value for money that we... more

If you want a warm, cosy, 17th century pub with an open fire, great English local fare well cooked and run and staffed by the nicest people you could wish to meet - look no further. We stayed just for one night, October 2009 to dine and hear some wonderful live jazz and we loved it. For three years now... more

at £65 per night midweek, with breakfast included, the crown and trumpet is hard to beat for a budget cotswolds break. traditionally furnished rooms and downstairs bar give a great sense of history to the place, and the food is traditional pub fayre at reasonable prices, although that is not to say the best food in the village. breakfast is... more

We have just returned from a 3 day break where we stayed at the Crown and Trumpet Inn at Broadway. As we arrived, we had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and locals. After settling in we had lunch, I can truly recommend the deep fried brie with cranberry sauce, it was the best I have ever tasted.... more

Found the Crown & Trumpet via the internet, was impressed with the quality/information of the website and with the response after placing initial booking enquiry. On arrival my wife and I were shown to our room and were given a very concise explanation of meal times, entertainment, what's on etc. We had a very enjoyable evening meal followed by some... more

What an utterly gorgeous place to stay in. Quaint, quirky and truely authentic to look at .The staff were the friendliest we encountered during our entire UK stay and the food was scrumptious. We loved the pub cat "El Smoocho" and his lovely owner who also served the delectable full English breakfasts each morning. And the highlight was the fabulous... more

We stayed for 3 nights in September 2009 at this location and we were not disappointed. When you first drive onto the High Street in Broadway you can't get away from the fact that this must be one of the most beautiful villages in the UK. The Crown and Trumpet Inn turned out to be as traditional as one was... more
