Having stayed there for 2 weeks due to business, I can honestly say that this was absolutely terrible. All the money has been spent downstairs in the bar and restaurant leaving little or no money to be invested in the hotel rooms. When I was there the heating, showers and TV worked only occasionally. The full english breakfast was really... more

We were only here overnight for a few hours (thank goodness) as attending a function and had to depart early the following morning. The room smelt damp and musty and, because of the disgusting smell, everything felt damp too. Couldn't wait to leave.Try and avoid this hotel but, if you can't, don't accept room 15 more

Stayed for a week in February with one child. Location: Really good site at the base of the Malvern Hills and in the centre of Great Malvern itself. Has a carpark and bus and train links almost on the door step. Be warned that Great Malvern is on a SERIOUS hill. The last few feet up Church Road are shattering... more

I stayed at the mount pleasant hotel a few weekends ago. The hotel is conveniently situated and has got a large outdoor car park. The building is really old and funny enough the reception is on the lower ground floor. The room was very large and the showers were clean and worked well. That said, there is a funny smell... more

Booked for 9-11th October on 6th but only read the reviews the night before we travelled, so we arrived fearing the worst. This is an old property possibly early 1900's. We were greeted by the very friendly manager and shown to our room (no.2) What a surprise! The room was very spacious with the most fantastic view across the town... more

On arriving at the hotel you could see that this is an old building, the receptionist was very friendly she personally took myself and my dad to our rooms. My room was no 12 this over looked the side garden and car park. It was a very good size with double bed, two bedside cabinet’s wardrobe, desk on which your... more

Hugely overpriced. Would not be worth half of what they charge. Our room was freezing and draughty (in July?!) very drab and tired with wallpaper peeling off the walls and very tired old furniture. The bathroom smelt and although it looked clean, the smell put us off. Spluttering shower, dripping taps which kept us awake, no latch on the window... more

We found our stay at the Mount Pleasant very enjoyable and relaxing!! When we arrived from our long journey we were greated by friendly approachable staff. Later on that day we had a meal in their spring resturant. This was delicious and tasted so fresh. We found it very handy for all of the attractions and shops especially the theatre.... more
