I was driving around Aberystwyth looking for a place to stay, and happened to drive past Aishling B&B with a "vacancies" sign in the window. The location is very central, about two short blocks from the rail station if you're coming in by train, and with shopping, pubs, a grocery store, and restaurants easily within walking. Proprietress Geraldine "Gerry" Lynch was very kind, helpful, and accommodating; the rate was half what I've been paying in hotels, and the quality easily twice as nice. Full cooked breakfast included. Bathroom was not en suite but shared - not a problem for me, but do be aware.
The house is older but nicely furbished and cared for, although my room did still slope quite a bit. Rooms accessible via stairs, so if you can't climb it's probably not for you. Seemed to be adequate parking on the street.
