We've stayed there over the May weekend. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was OK and it was warm there - the bathroom with hot water... We were only disappointed by breakfast. You would expect to eat something warm before going up to the mountains but there was only a choice of pastry, cheeses, fruits & cereals.... More

We had a lovely stay here, very welcoming and happy to help. Beautiful views, even with the cold weather! We would recommend this place to anybody looking for a romantic break with stunning views or somebody looking to go walking.

This hotel is well located clean and tidy. It specialises in yoga and tai chi courses and if you were not expecting it the sight of people doing their exercises in the grounds first thing in the morning can be a little unsettling. I have marked it down a little as evening meals are only done to order and are... More

In 2 days we had heavy rain, low cloud and a beautiful blue sky! So, add a stunning mountain backdrop and welcome to heaven...I mean Wales! This lodge is simple in comfort but be under no illusion the customer care is far from simple. Peter took ever effort to make sure we were taken care of...even making sure we have... More

We had a family room booked for the last night of our holiday. We booked it on line and the price was ok. We were greeted by a very friendly and enthusiastic guy on reception who was very helpful, although when we asked for a recommendation of somewhere to eat, his knowledge wasnt great. The room was clean and neat,... More

We stayed here for one night - we booked 3 rooms for a large party of 8 in total. The family rooms were a very good size, bathrooms were immaculate and my children loved the hot water bottles. Reception staff are very friendly as are the ones in the dining area at breakfast. My inlaws were expecting a cooked breakfast... More

Perfect location for climbing Snowdon. Basic, but extremely clean accomodation. Excellent breakfast of cereals, bread, fruit, cheese etc.. lots of choice and plenty of it. Only down side, no TV's in the rooms, but there is a TV room/kitchen available which we used to have a takeaway and TV night.

We were not disappointed by our stay here. The room was always at just the right temp. which was great after a day's walk to the top of Snowdon where it was freezing. Lovely hot shower with fab power. The room was exceptionally clean too. We stayed here with our 9 yr old daughter and her bed was a "proper"... More
