The views are amazing, waking up with the noise of the river cheers up everyone. Stayed in the lowest floor but even then the views were quite good. Had Friday dinner in as well and was yummi! Wish I could have it everynight. Maybe little bit pricey but def. worth it. Great location for visiting the Beacons, only bad point... More

The room was small although the balcony was a nice touch. It was the food and service that let it down. The menu for Sunday lunch was a carbon copy for Saturday evening. How sad. I didn't get a pud on sat eve even tho i was told 3 times it was on it's way. They were very full at... More

Stayed just one night as short break. Made to feel very welcome. The price is very good for the quality of the rooms. The bedroom is a reasonable size, with an adequate bathroom. Most of the decor is modern/contemporary, but the underlying style is dated in places, especially in the bathroom. This is also true generally in the public areas,... More

The room had a wonderful view and balcony. I wouldn't call it a 'private balcony.' The room was very small for £95 with narrow twin beds and the lighting was very poor indeed. The room needs updating badly. The food was very good but was all swimming in butter. We avoided the sauté veg as there was enough fat in... More

I recently stayed at this Hotel whilst attending a Family wedding in the area. I could not fault the staff or hotel, the staff were all very friendly and attentive nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and even with a zed bed in the room for my 8yr old. The views were spectacular from both the room... More

Due to unfortunate circumstances we were forced to book into the Llanwenarth Hotel & Riverside Restaurant as we could not get any other accommodation, I would like to thank those party goers who booked everything else, my lovely wife and I had a wonderful stay. We didn't arrive until late having seen friends before arrival, we were met with a... More

Stayed for 3 nights ( dinner bed & breakfast) with friends to do some walking in the area in April 2013. Really enjoyed our stay. Staff go out of their way to be helpful and to respond to requests, nothing was too much trouble. Room had a lovely balcony and magnificent view over the stunning valley, weather didn't match it... Arrived without a reservation on a beautiful spring day.Immediately made very welcome and ushered into pleasant dining room with spectacular views over the river valley below. Good value menu with excellent choices. Service was friendly and efficient. Food very well prepared and appetizing. One small criticism was a portion of Melba toast or bread with the Chicken roulette would have... More

Stayed at the Llanwenarth Hotel a few weeks ago. Friday and Saturday night. Really liked the hotel. The bathrooms are a bit cramped. Go for a room with a balcony overlooking the river and mountains - so lovely in the morning. There was snow on the mountains when we were there.. We ate at the hotel on one of the... More
