Had one night stay in a very comfortable room with huge bed. The setting is blissful and the overall feel of the place is slightly faded granduer (but in a good way) We found the whole place very relaxing - spent a couple of hours sitting in the lounge reading, drinking tea and watching the world go by. Didn't have... more

My partner and I booked to stay at the Sychnant Pass Hotel a month or two before out stay and sue to a booking error our room was unavailable on our arrival. Staff were most apologetic and promtly booked a local 5 star hotel and paid the difference. We were also offered a complimentary stay which we took advantage of... more

Stayed in the sanctuary suite, with private terrace and hottub. Amazing value for what you got and the room was beautiful. The surrounding hills and landscape are breathtaking and this is really a wonderful hotel for a break. Breakfast was lovely, staff helpful and they even posted back my pjs as I'd left them behind. Highly recommended! more

A complete chill…….. What a fantastic weekend! We arrived at Sychnant Pass Hotel on the Friday afternoon to be greeted by warm and friendly staff who immediately offered us afternoon tea – a welcome gesture after our long journey. The room was large and comfortable with amazing views with a generous tray of refreshments. We felt immediately at home. The... more

Having finally got a day off work we headed off quite locally for a night away with the children. I had wanted a complete change of scene and a bit of luxury, not to mention not having to cook and wash up!! Having been greeted with a lovley welcome we were shown our room and then having unpacked we went... more

While it was a few months ago that I stayed at Sychnant Pass I thought in light of the bad experience suffered by a previous guest I'd put my comments across. As a country house Sychnant Pass comes over as a favourite elderly aunt, a little bit jaded around the edges perhaps but really warm, welcoming and someone you look... more

My partner and I stayed at Sychnant Pass for two nights dinner bed and breakfast. We were welcomed by the managers Ailsa and Dan (who is also the chef) and were made to feel at home straight away. Our bags were carried for us to our rooms and we had plenty of time to use the impressive indoor pool before... more

we stayed in sychnant house and we were expecting a wonderful country house hotel, all we got was a tired old grubby house, and two dogs running around with poo all round the gardens and even in the diningroom under the curtains, After dinner one night we retired to the lounge for coffee crackers and cheese, after laying my plate... more

You would expect a lavish country house at this price and advertisment, but all you get is a tired old house with a small leisure centre. We never met Bre or Graham the chef. The bath room had no shower so we used the leisure centre to shower which was not what we liked. On the plus side the food was good... more
