We stayed at Gwynfryn June 2009. We arrived there by chance and we found one of the best B&B we have ever been. Our room was small but very cosy, full of butterflies and lovely decorations. It was not ensuite, we had a private bathroom at our exclusive disposal opposite the landing. Everything was extremely clean and new, the bathroom... More

Monica and Colin are all about service. The rooms are quaint, sparkling clean, comfortable and, unlike many places we stayed, the wi-fi was super. The Gwynfryn is in a great location and within easy walking access to restaurants, shopping and historical sites. Just so you have a little context, I'm super picky and would not think of recommending any place... More

Stayed at Gwynfryn B&B during the food (and lots of drink!) festival in October. Monica and Colin are perfect hosts and the B&B was absolutely charming. Lovely room, great breakfast, lovely company. Would highly recommend. More

We were on a 2 month trip through most of western Europe. The UK was the last leg of the trip, and we wanted to see a historic castle. Conwy castle was a perfect choice, and we wanted to stay somewhere within the city walls. We actually arrived by train without any accommodations, but a quick phone call to Gwynfryn... More

Great decor, very clean and fresh. I love the old charm, and the creativity of the decorations. The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom had lots of room and a wonderful tub. The town was 12th century old charm and the house fit right in. We even got help with parking. More

During our 6-week trip throughout the UK, we found two types of hosts at bed and breakfasts: those who live to be hosts or those who do it to make a living. Colin and Monica at Gwynfryn B&B absolutely love what they do and it shows. The quality and quantity of amenities in our room was excellent; the decor is... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in Conwy at Gwynfryn Bed and Breakfast. Both Colin and Monica made every effort to ensure that we had a good time. Our room was very clean and wonderfully decorated. It was on the top floor but Colin handled our luggage (as he does for all their guests) so we... More

Excellent meals. Colin is a great cook. The rooms was very nice with many extra touches made by Monica. Very accomadating. I needed to use the computer for business, and they helped with using theirs. Great location for Conway. Very thoughtful touches in the room. If you go to Conway, this is the place to stay. Our hosts made our experience great. They were helpful and created a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was spotless. The house was filled with whimsy. We could not recommend this enough, and would definitely go back in a second. More

My husband and I feel in love with Conwy. It was small, quiet, with lovely hikes and fields of heather. Gwynfryn Bed & Breakfast was comfortable, friendly, and had amazing (and HUGE) breakfasts. We stayed 3 nights and wish we'd stayed a week. More
