Very impressed, having worried previously that a hotel in Llangollen would cater mainly for the older crew, but that never came across. As you walk in, there is a big TV screen with lots of smaller screenshots from cameras around the hotel - a little Big Brother-ish! Stayed here in the Cedar room Sept 20th. Nice room, nice view, but nothing spectacular. For the money i would have preferred something a little more, chandelier in room full of dust, admittedly it is 14 foot in the air, but these things count, staff were very helpful, choice of food in restaurant was more than acceptable and the presentation... more

we got to the hotel early about one hour before legal check in,the receptionist was friendly and said our room would be ready in ten mins.so we went outside to the decking area and the view was lovely and so was the bar snack food that we had,,we whwere led toour room a double but the bed was so small... more

Stayed for three days and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The proprietors have taken full advantage of the natural surroundings to enhance the grounds. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated, the staff most pleasant and helpful and the presence of the directots at various times is indicative of their aim to please. Stayed for two nights. A pleasant location, a warm welcome from very pleasant staff, followed by a sauna for a bedroom, although a fan was available. A television that squarks more than the parrot in reception. Breakfast, what a dissapointment!!!, tinned fruit, warm fruit juice, under cooked mains and tea to wash the pots in!!! Shame really!!! more
