I have stayed at this hotel twice now, with family. Once for my sisters wedding and 2nd time for another family function. I found the staff very friendly, and the hotel rooms were very clean. This is a sad and tatty hotel badly in need of refurbishment . At £74 per double room for bed and breakfast one would be better off at the local Travelodge which is £20 cheaper. (i believe that the existing reviews for the royal victoria hotel in menai bridge are meant to be for the victoria hotel - the royal victoria is in Llanberis and has no view of the water, whereas the victoria hotel is in menai bridge and has a view of the water) i was booked into a room on the top... more

The Victoria Hotel is an imposing building smack bang on the Menia Straits. The location is fantastic and the view from the room my wife and I shared was amazing.
