We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The location is great. We had a room with a massive balcony that looked out onto a showjumping training area - great to watch the horses whilst we were eating breakfast. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk to a lovely beach and there are plenty of animals to stop and chat... more

Most visitors to this hotel will choose it for one thing: convenience for the Irish ferry terminal, only 10 minutes away by the A55 (though a little hard to find in our experience). It's a medium-sized motel with decently-sized, well-furnished rooms and bar-restaurant; nothing special, but perfectly adequate. We found the bat/restaurant service somewhat casual, including the service of the... more

My wife and I called here for an evening meal; we both chose "Two Way Duck" consisting of duck breast and confit of duck leg. My meal was OK but the duck leg served to my wife was off - it was rancid. We called the waiter who took the plate back to the kitchen. On his return he put... more

We found our stay at this hotel to be very relaxing, the reception staff on the evening that we checked in where very friendly and helpful. Really nice place to stay, modern, very clean and really good breakfast. Ideal location for port at Holyhead. The only downside would be that it is slightly expensive more

A real hidden gem this. Very relaxed and family-run, with a lovely spacious bedroom. The staff were great even though they were busy. The food was exceptional. If you need to stay over in the Holyhead area, I can definitely recommend it! It was so good, I'm planning to go back and stay for a weekend! more

We had a great overnight stay. We stayed in Room 2 which is one of their premium ones. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the equestrian arena with lovely countryside views beyond. We ate in the restaurant - the food was exceptional value for money and beautifully cooked. The wine list was reasonably priced and very... more
