Allocated a family room at no extra cost. Nice double bed all to myself. Lovely breakfast with veggie option too. Easy location for town and Ferry. Gave great tips on how to save money on local transport. Friendly and I will be back. more

The room was quite small with little space around the bed. We didn't have a double but two singles pushed together which was a bit annoying. The bathroom was v. small but again clean and the water was hot. Decor was fine. Staff friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Location wise it is close to holyhead town centre and... more

Yes its basic, yes its cheap. Good food & good host. Stayed in late May, Our first three choices where fully booked. looking at what else was on offer i think we chose well. Holyhead is not somewhere we would normally visit, old fashioned town, run down, full of boy racers.. more

I was just looking for somewhere that was cheap, clean, peaceful and convenient and found it! For £25 a nice room with tea, biscuits and sweets and in a decent location. Holyhead is mainly for the Ferry and one nighters breaking journey. You have a choice of eating places and pubs within easy walk. The Welsh Breakfast is great. If you want 5... more

Booked this about a month in advance based on price (I generally go for somewhere that is cheap and has a rating of 3 or more on here). Cheapest hotel I've been to in this country for about 7 years and being honest I was pleasently surprised. Location was good, about 5/10 mins walk from Holyhead centre and 2/3 mins... more

A pretty good place to stay. Small but comfortable. Standard of the the way the room was kept was not what we were used to. We found all Hotels/Motels/Bed and Breakfasts in UK/England to be quite grotty. more

My wife and stopped here on the night of the 11th Jun, as a convenience to catch the ferry to ireland the next morning. I was confident after reading a couple of reviews, but was extremely disappointed. There was no one home when we arrived in mid afternoon, the room was dirty, the door to the ensuite was literally snapped... more

Very harsh comments in the circumstances. I had just returned from Hoilday with an injury. The panel on the en-suite toilet door had split in my absense. I temporary repaired and it functioned fine. I have had chance to replace the door since. I was called out in an emergency as I work for the Coastguard and left keys with...

Needed some where to stay after late night ferry. Single room so small you couldn't swing the proverbial cat. Tiny washbasin in room but no hot water available. Beats sleeping in the car ..just !! more
