Friendly proprietor, spacious accommodation, comfortable bed, super breakfast with home-made jam. It's hard to imagine how Yr Hendre could be better More

We stayed here overnight prior to taking the ferry. We were made very welcome and the rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. The owners could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable and provided excellent advice on places to eat, booked our taxi and printed off sample venues from suggested restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, first class ingrediants well... More

I first came her about 20 years ago. We booked again this August and were delighted. The bedroom was sumptuous, ensuite had double basins and all the trimmings. Great Welsh breakfast and Rita was as hospitable as ever Don't stay anywhere else in Holyhead! More

This accommodation was a wonderful and welcome stop having completed the last 14 mile stretch of our coastal walk around Anglesey. Rita greeted us at the front door and took us into her cosy, stunning house. The room was beautifully decorated, the bathroom was absolutely huge and freshly made welshcakes had been left for us to enjoy with a cup... More

We stayed one night pending our ferry to Dublin and were thrilled with the room Rita allocated in the front of the house overflooking the green. It was light and airy and drenched with sunshine when we arrived in the afternoon. As this was just for overnight and not knowing what we could do for the remainder of the day,... More

Should of known it was going to be a lovely stay when Ritas husband brought in a tray of welsh cakes to have for afternoon tea. Beautiful, comfortable accommodation and also a really nice place to stay before catching the ferry to Dublin. Very helpful couple and we had some great chats about our travels and they helped sought out... More

Rita made us feel right at home. The rooms we booked were both upstairs and were beautifully furnished with nice views over the surrounding countryside. There was also a nice living area we could gather in for a glass of wine. Rita also recommended the Harbourfront Bistro which is actually only a 10 minute walk from her guesthouse. It was... More

We stayed at Yr Hendre for one night while walking the Anglesey Coastal Path. Yr Hendre is very well situated being only a few minutes' walk from the town centre, sea front and ferry terminal but in a quiet residential road with a park oposite. We received a very friendly welcome and would have felt comfortable asking for anything we... More

This B&B was the first accomodation of five on our holiday walking the Anglesey Coastal Path. It set the bar very high in terms of the quality of the room , especially the bathroom , which was huge & well equipped with his n' hers basins , corner bath & separate shower cubicle. We were close to town & also... More

A very comfortable and welcoming bed and breakfast. All the equipment you need - hairdryer, iron, lots of coathangers (unusual, in my experience). Very helpful and friendly hosts. Quiet location close to the sea and the town centre. Altogether very good value for money and highly recommended. More
