Stayed at the Tanronnen Inn for 2 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. Rooms very clean quite spacious with big bathrooms, best feature was the view over the mountains and fields. The Tanronnen is in a small but beautifull village, our room was spacious, warm, clean and overlooking Gelert's grave with a fab view. The service was excellent, the staff were the most friendly I have ever met and they work hard to please their customers. more

Having read such excellent reviews on trip advisor we headed straight to the Tanronnen Inn for dinner. Unfortunately for us they had stopped serving food (8.20pm). this has to be one of the warmest and friendly inn we have stayed at , service excellent, rooms excellent, food excellent, good walks by river this is ideal for winter or summer. all round could not fault,will be back next month. more

We have stayed at the Tanronnen on several occasions now, and absolutely love the place. The accommodation, food and service are all fantastic, and we are always made to feel extremely welcome. We stayed here with 3 friends and absolutely agree with the other positive reviews. Everything was great. Although we didn't arrive until 11pm they had saved us a parking space. Breakfast was fantastic, one of our friends commented, "10 cooked breakfasts in two days and every one of them perfectly presented". We will definitely stay there again when we go... more

The Tanronnen was once again excellent. Food was great on both nights we were there. Breakfast is outstanding .Jilly and Alun are fantasic hosts. The Tanronnen is within easy reach of the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, Blaenau Festiniog, Caernarfon and many other attractions in this beautiful part of Wales if you are driving. I stay at the Tanronnen each year around December/January and have nothing but praise for the place. Clean and well furnished bedrooms, excellent food and the breakfast is wonderful. Sit in the room with the big open fire and feel the warmth, just like the welcome. The locals, mostly Welsh speaking but do speak English,are all friendly and the beer... more
