Accommodation at The Acorns is a bed and breakfast suite, which means it is a very large room (in reality, two rooms knocked through) with a bedroom area, TV and sofa area and separate dining area. There is a also a very modern en suite bathroom.

The decor and furnishings were very comfortable, relaxing and spacious.

Other than arrival and departure you don't really get to see the owners as a buffet breakfast is left for you in the fridge in your room. Don't be put off by this. The breakfast was lovely and very plentiful - you won't go hungry. Cereal, fruit juice, muffins or local Bara Brith loaf, toast (a toaster is in the room), cereal bar, tomatoes, ham, cheese, yogurts, fruit etc.

The location is very central for the picturesque town of Betws y Coed - situated set back from the main road - and for exploring Snowdonia. The view is pleasant though not tremendously exciting - beyond the road to fields and distant hills.
