Stayed for a long weekend with my wife and son. I've been visiting Snowdonia for over 30 years for walking trips and almost always camp, so a hotel stay was a major change for me. We had a lodge-style family room. It was quiet, clean and spacious. Found the 'early-bird' restaurant deals to be good value so ate at the... More

Stayed here in January this year, and found out that even in the luxury lodges they only have Freeview on the TV with just 3 extra digital channels on top of Channels 1-5. There is not a lot to do in the night time in Snowdonia, so we like to watch TV, and my mother and me would have really... More

After staying at the Stables Lodge for three nights we stayed at the Waterloo for two nights in one of the chalets with our two children, aged 9 and 11. The arrangement was very good as they had their own room (we had a separate bedroom and they slept in a lounge style room with sofa bed easily converted into... More

Stayed B&B in one of the lodges separate from the hotel. Clean, comfortable and warm, but clanking water pipes after using water, wi-fi connected outside room but not inside, strange tv remote with no control of sub titles etc. Buffet style breakfast but items were running out 30 mins before closing. We, and others had to wait for more to... More

Stayed in one of the lodge rooms detached from the main hotel, the room was spacious and bright although it would have benefited from a good dusting. breakfast was O.k but hot buffet breakfasts do not work for me I like mine cooked to order (sorry but fried eggs do not keep well on a buffet). staff where friendly and... We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. A quick and smooth check in process was followed by a trip to our room. I'd asked for a room upstairs in the main hotel but ended up with one of the lodge style chalets at the rear of the building. At first glance the outside of the chalets looked grey, dreary... More

we booked for 1 night and was expecting a hotel room after checking in we were informed we were being allocated a challet type room. It was freezing cold and on closer inspection the mattress was filthy (hugh brown stain). I immediately asked the receptionist to change and she allocated us a room in the hotel. This was by far... This is perfectly situated at the end of the village and not a far walk to all the pubs and restaurants although I would recommend the chippy at the top of town opposite the pb two visits there both excellent. The leaisure facilities here were good and breakfast excellent. More

We stopped at this hotel because it was the first hotel that we saw that had a health club. IT was an OK room, clean, not too expnesive. The menu for the attached restaurant looked bad! We didn't dare eat there, but found a good restaurant a block away,p the riverside. The breakfast was OK, not great, but lots of... More
