Have just spend two nights at the Waterloo Hotel. It is essentially a motel with the sort of standard rooms with little character. We turned up on the day without booking. Great service, insisting that we look at the room (in the main building). Clean & comfortable though the central heating was difficult to control. The bar food was excellent value. Would stay again. more

This is a truly remarkable Hotel. From food to service, from location to facilities you really cannot go wrong. I came across this hotel with the intention of staying one night but stayed four nights because of the amenities and modern bathroom and bedrooms. A major plus was the swimming pool and stream room.
