I have never before written a review about a hotel but I must say loads of marvellous things about the Waterloo. I recently organised a 3 day stay at the hotel for the Rolls Royce Enthusiast Club and we occupied all 39 rooms .From the initial planning to everything over the 3 days nothing was too much trouble. From Lowrie... more

Booked the Waterloo for a short break to Betws-y-Coed; stayed in a standard lodge. The other rooms available are standard hotel rooms (in the hotel itself), and deluxe lodges. The deluxe and standard lodges were separate from the hotel building. The room was a decent size, comfy bed, plenty of storage. Bathroom was a good size with a big towel... more

My wife and I stayed in this Hotel with 72 other members of the Rolls Royce Enthusiats' Club for 3 nights in June 2007. We could not fault the food, service, staff or bedrooms/lodges that we all stayed in. The cost was reasonable for this quality of Hotel, we live fairly local and do visit from time to time just... more

Thank you very much for a fantastic weekend, after completing the three peaks challenge, it was a pleasure to find a friendly and welcoming hotel. The service was excellent and extremely friendly. I tend to use this hotel on a regular basis throughout the year. The restaurant main menu is a little limited, however the level of services more than makes up for it. The hotel also has good leisure facilities. more

We have just had a very pleasent stay at this hotel (shame the weather wasn't as pleasant!!!) When we arrived we were a little unsure what to expect as the reviews on this site were very mixed, we needn't have worried though the room was clean & tidy & the staff were friendly. Due to the weather we had our... more

Just stayed over the easter break in this charming Motel style hotel. The hotel had a wonderful restauarnt were during our break there was a harpist playing to us each night. The restaurant was extremely busy during our stay, however the staff appeared unfazed and were as cheerful as ever The food was excellent and the steak I had was... more
