We've just come back from 2 nights stay at Ty Gwyn. I'd read the reviews on Trip Advisor and thought we'd chosen the ideal location for a nice country break. The Inn was lovely, very oldey worldey, the food was fabulous, ate there on both nights. The Inn doesn't have a full license so the only people who could have... more

Positives - this is an inn with great food - the menu is very extensive and full of variety however this doesn't seem to have affected the quality of the food which is reasonably priced and nicely presented. Co-owners were both pleasant. The inn is nicely located, just slightly out of the centre of the village but within walking distance,... more

Stayed for two nights in room 9A which is the biggest room. It was beautifully decorated and apleasure to relax in. Up in the attic it was very quirky and beat our expectations both in size and style. The balcony was nice overlooking the trees at the back which were very close. I do agree with peoples comments about not... more

A 16th centruy coaching inn, now providing B&B and excellent restaurant, a short level walk from Betws-y-Coed. We booked 6 of their 14 rooms for a bank holiday get-together and were delighted with the location, the accommodation and in particular the evening meals. Rooms: Inevitably, with a building this old, the rooms are varied in size, giving a choice between... more

Relaxing atmosphere on arrival. Greeted by member of staff and shown to rooms (2). Staff member helped with luggage. Rooms are individually furnished to a high standard, with very comfortable beds. Extensive menu in restaurant and bar. Food is well presented and was delicious. We must compliment the chef! All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful and seemed to work... more

First impressions count and when you walk into a hotel and the proprietor is on the phone and doesn't even look up to acknowledge you it doesn't start things well. When we got to our room (the room number on the door was written in felt pen, classy!) there were two laminated A4 sheets on the table telling us how... more

Slightly dated review - stayed there three years ago with my wife and parents. It is a fantastic small old inn at the end of the village. Rooms are fantastic and great value. Dinner was amazing - I have never had better lamb. They were doing a special on half shoulder of lamb - I have never had a better... more
