How much you like this hotel will depend on what you want from a hotel. If you want a warm welcome, smiley staff and a nice atmosphere, it is not for you. We stayed in room 5 which had a great view down the valley. Both the bedroom and bathroom were lovely. The food and wine experience here is amazing. We had 3 nights of beautifully cooked and presented food. And breakfasts are equally good! more

I have to recommend this country house. The hosts are so welcoming, the room was lovely and the food was just amazing - they should have a michelin star! The setting is perfect for exploring the Snowdonia national park. We will definitely be returning. more

Guest room comfortable and clean. Facilities try to leave the impression of being upscale, but in their efforts the host and hostess come across reserved, bordering on snobby. Breakfast foods were excellent, but the lack of back ground music makes the room stuffy. No internet facilities. more
