Our room certainly wasn't 'luxury' as the board outside stated but it was clean and spacious. However we felt that the hotel itself was very poor, there wasnt even a restaurant and meals were taken in the pub area which was dingy. As we were waiting to order our meal another customer returned his food as it was cold, I... more

Called in to this place for a meal. Service was appalling, bar staff rude and became aggresive when we tried to complain. No management on site at the time to make a formal complaint. Worst attitude I have ever had to encounter, if this an example of Welsh hospitality they can keep it. more

Had visited the hotel on numerous occasions but only for a drink after visiting the Falls. I wasn't wholly convinced from visiting for a drink that the hotel (at £80 per night) was worth it - especially as this was top end price for the area. As most accommodation was occupied for the one night I stayed thought I'd try... more

Well, it doesn't cost the earth, it is in a beautiful location, and is certainly value for money, though doesn't feel like a treat. Pretty clean all around (we stayed in the annexe). Great for exploring the Snowdonia area. Pub in the main building with good food. more

My wife and I have recently got married abroad, but with the money we recived as gift,we decided to go away, for a honeymoon on our own. There was nothing good about this hotel from start to finish. When we walked through the corridors to our room we were greeted by a smell, which was a cross between urine and bad food, and there were stains... more

2nd Jan 2009. We have just returned from spending new year at "The Swallow Falls Hotel" We paid £12.00 for a buffett of sandwiches, chicken legs frozen quiche and chopped egg vol-au-vents. The disco we had was a young 15-16yr old playing cd's. We were told this was family orientated so the hoards of children running around the place were... more

We stayed in one of the rooms featured on the website. The only good thing about the room was that it was clean. There was a saniflow type of waste disposal in the bathroom which was deafening there were bits and pieces either broken or missing The room was in desparate need of a refurb and this theme was continued... more

We found the hotel no problems, directly oppposite swallow falls, well signposted. Lovely building on the main road with ample parking. Car park was pay and display but as hotel guests it was free. Booked in at reception a little frostier than expected, very reserved! On a positive they take pets, as a negative they don't disclose the £5 pet... more

My husband was taking part in a marathon and we needed to stay near Llanberis. We found this hotel in a brochure and booked over the phone. HOTEL The hotel is in a very picturesque area and was easy to find and right on the A5. Checking in was easy and we were directed to our room - which was... more
