Stayed in large family room. Spotless & very comfortable. Lovely breakfast & great location just 5-7 min walk via a public footpath through a working farm & over a pedestrian suspension bridge into a beautiful village. It was also close to Tree tops adventure centre & a short walk from a restaurant called "Ty Gwyn Coaching Inn" in which we... more
Found Aberconwy House originally by googling and liked the look of the four poster bedroom as we were looking for somewhere special for our first wedding anniversary which was also located near to Snowdon. Couldn't have chosen a nicer B&B if we'd tried. Warm welcome, excellent breakfast, stunning views from our bedroom over Betws-Y-Coed. Convenient for strolling into Betws-Y-Coed in... more
We had a wonderful stay at this B+B, the owners were lovely people who made us feel very welcome and had great tips on where was nice to eat and where was good to visit. The room was very comfortable, it was in a beautiful spot and only a short walk into Betws-y-coed. I highly recommned this B+B. more
We chose to tour Wales on motorcycles and decided to spend two of the days enjoying the roads of Snowdonia. We arrived on a dull wet day after a five-hour ride in the rain, the hospitality we received on arrival was exceptional. A place was offered to dry out our clothing and the off-road parking was an added bonus. The... more
Really enjoyed our stay here, lovely big bedroom with amazing view. Location is less than 10 mins walk into Betws and it iwas nice being a bit away from the main village. Great breakfast which set up up perfectly for a walk in the mountains. They can also make packed lunches which worked out really well for us. The couple... more

The house is very old, so the floorboard in our room makes a lot of cracking noise. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the linen was soft. Personally, the shower was very weak to my... more
We return time after time to North Wales and always choose to stay at Aberconwy House. We always receive a genuine warm welcome in the most friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the breakfasts always set you up for the day. With a good choice of hot or cold breakfasts (they cater well for us... more
Aberconwy House was a great base for our trek up Snowdon. The room was lovely and cosy, with very comfortable beds, and the breakfast selection was ideal in terms of setting us up for a big day of walking - I particularly recommend the smoked salmon and scrabbled egg! more
Stuart and Emma are excellent and friendly hosts who always have time for a chat or for some local advice. The rooms are always clean and the breakfasts are great. We've been coming here for three years and wouldn't look anywhere else. The front of the hotel offers fantastic views up the forested Lugwy valley. Even if your room is... more
