What can I say - this B&B really does tick every box: Beds - more comfortable than my own, lovely and soft without being saggy Facilities - the bathroom and sink are pleasant and clean, there's the usual selection of tea etc.. with the kettle, as well as an iron & ironing board, hairdryer and trouser press. Although we weren't... More

From the warm welcome, to the spotlessly clean comfortable room, to the bountiful breakfast and the generously shared local knowledge we would recommend Aberconwy House to anyone. The view from our bedroom window was fantastic, a peaceful location with all the benefits of Betws-y-Coed less than 10 minutes walk away. Stuart was a fount of local knowledge, with advice on... Was a nice enough stay here for a couple of nights. Great view from the room. Room was a little dated albeit clean. As per some of the earlier posts, the breakfast was great but only served between 8.30-9am and maybe I fancied a bit more of a lie in! Otherwise, pretty much on par for decent B&Bs in Betws. More

We stayed at Aberconwy House for the first time 4 years ago with other members of our family and we all loved it. My partner and I have been twice since then and have enjoyed the experience so much that not only did the proposal take place at Snowdon (while staying at Aberconwy House) but we have decided to get... We stayed here in August during a mountain biking holiday and wanted to treat ourselves to a luxurious B&B for our last couple of nights in the UK. Aberconwy House is advertised as a 5 star B&B, awarded by Visit Wales. The location was nice and quiet, though a little like "B&B land" with all the properties in the area... More

Stayed at Aberconwy Guest House for 2 nights, September 9 & 10 on a recent trip to the UK with my mother. We reserved two double rooms for single occupancy. My mother was in Room 1 and I was one floor up in Room 5. Views were good from her room and fantastic from mine from the large bay windows.... More

Lovely place, breakfast was delicious, emma the owner was lovely and very helpful, we will definitely be back next year. The b & b is just a short walk from the centre of betws-y-coed over a footpath in the field and lovely bridge which brings you out at the back of the railway station, very quaint. More

I stayed at Aberconwy House with my two children and we had a fantastic time. I couldn't fault the service, the food and the room. The Charltons were lovely hosts and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. I can't recommend Aberconwy enough. And those... More

We were to stay here for four nights, but decided to leave after just one. Although the room was nice (room with the four poster bed), clean, spacious and had good views, it was the attitude of the proprietor that made us leave. Why are here so many rules? You are here to relax in your vacation! There are rules... More
