I was referred to Aberconwy by a friend. She loved it. I thought the room was lovely. Enjoyed sitting on the second floor with a cup of tea watching it rain. The host was all business when we arrived and checked in. He had a list of things to go over. They were a bit distant. He was the cook... more

Wow, this was the place to stay in betws-y-coed! It was by far our favoriate location on our trip. This lovely B & B had the best view and the most comfortable beds and a great breakfast. My daughter and I stayed in Room 2 the view was fantastic. Betws-y-coed was a beautiful story book like village, and easy close... more

We were both looking for a relaxing break and decided to go to Betwys. We looked at quite a few bbs but liked the look and sound of this one. We had the room 6 with the four poster bed. The view from the room was breathtaking and the room itself was immaculcate with everything you need for a comfortable... more

First Class!!! This is our second stay at Aberconwy House and just like the first it was excellent, from the moment we arrived we felt part of the family, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in Room 1, as we had done the previous year, however the room had been upgraded with a new en-suite and also a new... more

Spent a wonderful weekend at this top class Guesthouse, clean, friendly, lovely rooms a genuinely enjoyable experience - I would highly recommend it. Earlier reviews stating excellence of breakfast are dead right - it's a corker! Thanks to the Charlton family for a great time - my family and I look forward to returning soon. If you like your walking/climbing... more

We had a lovely three night stay at this guest house and will certainly recommend it. The bedroom and shower room were spotless. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bed linen. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and piping hot. The views and location were WOW!! We are looking forward to our next visit. more

We stayed for 3 nights, the views were wonderful, you are in an elevated postion. Stayed in room 6 with the four poster bed. Do not think the price of £80 for this room was worth it. We did not get fresh towels everyday. My husband cut himself shaving on the the first night and he got blood on one... more

Stayed in room 8 (I think?). A double on the second floor with a view of the valley. One of the best room views we had in UK. However, the afternoon sun warmed the room and we had a hard time opening the windows. Great full breakfast in a very nice dining area. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nice... more

We stayed at Aberconwy House for two nights last weekend and it has to be one of the best B&B's I've ever stayed in. We booked the four-poster room because it was the only one left, but it is so impressive that we'd definately book it again. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable indeed (ideal for recovering... more
