If you are coming by train to Betws-y-coed, I very much reccomend Rosehill B&B. Their website shows how to walk from the train station, over a wonderful footbridge, over a lovely river, thru a farm (with sheep ofcourse) to the road that has several B&B's....all with a view of the valley.
