We loved Betws-Y-Coed and loved the Stables Lodge. It's right in the middle of the village, very handy, with lot's of parking spaces behind the building. We had a view onto the pine forest and it was great. The room and the bed were spacious, everything was clean. The only criticism I would say is no proper reception, I think... more

We stayed for one night at the Stables accomodation in Betws-y-Coed, North Wales. I booked this throught the internet as it was rated well and was very well priced. The room was huge, whilst basic but clean and safe. The town is just gorgeous so if your looking for more budget accomodation this is it. You are giving up room... more

We stayed at the Stables Lodge in Betws-y-coed in September 2004, and thought it was superb. The Stables Lodge is actually part of the Royal Oak Hotel, and guests are able to use the main hotel facilities. Breakfast can be taken in the main hotel with the hotel guests for GBP8 per day.
