Our first b and b in betws-y coed. Brilliant. a very warm welcome after a very wet journey. Comfy and cosy. Garage for the bike. Far enough away from the crowds of the village, but only a short scenic walk for an evening meal. Tasty breakfast , bacon was a bit dry. Good stay. Will definitely call again. more

We stayed here prior to and following our climb up Snowdon. It is located about 25 mins from the Llanberis path, and very close to lovely Betws-y-Coed, so ideally situated for our purpose. The room was superb, with all facilities, above and beyond what we expected. The breakfasts were spot on, nothing seemed too much trouble. We would definitely choose... more

Superb - the only word I can use for Bryn Bella. The hosts are wonderful and really helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. The room we had was amazing - it had everything and more - fridge, microwave, lovely soft dressing gowns, amazing shower! The breakfast was huge as was the packed lunches we had. We're always a... more

We stayed at Bryn Bella for a long weekend and cannot fault a single thing. We chose it because of its eco policy. They recycle everything, have low energy bulbs and have solar panels on the roof and solar lights in the garden. Having eggs straight from their own chickens was also wonderful. The room itself had everything you could... more

This is a fantastic B&B with everything (and more) that you could possibly need! We had packed lunch one day which was great. Sandwiches were in a paper bag which was fine because it was dry but maybe plastic (or some more eco-friendly, water-proof alternative) would have been better if it was wet! But seriously, thats my only vaugely negative... more

All the previous reviews sum up Bryn Bella,... it really was that good. The room had every conceivable extra (fridge, microwave, torch, bottle opener etc). . It it was immaculately clean and comfortable wiith lovely views across the valley. Mark, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. Breaskfast was good and we would have no hesitation in staying here again... more

We received excellent care and attention from the moment of making first contact to secure our booking. This was maintained throughout and made for a very relaxed and enjoyable stay. Our room was well equipped and comfortable. We appreciated the location away from the town centre, but within such easy reach by a hard-surfaced footpath across the field in the... more

The hotel is on a hillside overlooking the town of Betws-Y-Coed, and a fairly short walk to the town. Mark Edwards provides a warm welcome. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail: for example, the breakfast menu comes with the day's mountain weather report, the sitting room is well-stocked with hiking and climbing guides, and Mark can provide... more

Whilst I agree with what other reviewers have said with regards to the ample facilities in each room (fridge, microwave, flatscreen tv with integral DVD player, torch, umbrellas etc etc), I was disappointed by the service we received during our stay. The owner did not smile very much and often did not say good morning. Maybe it was just us because... more
