We stayed at the beautiful Afon Gwyn for 3 nights at the end of September and cannot recommend it enough. The service is always with a helpful and welcome smile, the decor is immaculate, the rooms are very comfortable. and the breakfasts are perfect. If I could leave Afon Gwyn 6 stars, then I would. We consider ourselves privileged to have had the opportunity to stay four nights in Afon Gwyn. After travelling around Britain and staying in many Hotels and Guest Houses the Afon Gwyn experience was simply the best. Stylish, classy, warm, hospitable, friendly and extremely efficient are only some of the things we can say about this Country House. The quality of... more

We stayed at Afon Gwyn for our Annivesary weekend. It was lovely, we were welcomed warmly on arrival, made to feel right at home. The rooms were superb and the breakfasts were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Tim and Di were excellent hosts. The bed and breakfast is a stone's throw from the town so very convenient. We had... more

Ashamed to say we have never visited Snowdonia before and we loved it. However, icing on the cake was Afon Gwyn. We never, ever stay in B&B's so broke our custom for... more

On arrival, having read all of the reviews on TripAdvisor we knew that we had to remove our shoes and I think we surprised Tim when we beat him to it for asking; they provide spa-type slippers for during your stay. We really think they should have a little pigeon hole set up per room for shoes/slippers in the reception... more

Our host, Tim, gave us a warm greeting when we arrived and made sure that we were comfortable. Our room was lovely and extremely neat. Breakfasts were delicious, as well. We would definitely return again to this wonderful B &... more
