We spent 2 nights over New Year at Afon View. We were greeted by Mike, who we found very pleasant and very helpful during our stay. We stayed in room 8, which was exactly like the picture on the website, decorated beautifully, bright and very clean. My husband was tempted to take the bed home as it was so comfortable.... More

We stayed at the Afon view in December for 3 nights, taking advantage of their 3 nights for the price of 2 deal. Luckily for us they were decorating the room we had booked and upgraded us to one of their best rooms...nice. Nice non greasy breakfast served on warm plates, hot food on cold plates is a pet hate... I visited the Afon View Guest House much earlier this year and have only now remembered to write this review. I stayed for 3 perfect nights using the Afon View as a base to explore the area. I checked in with no hassle and was shown to my room which was nicely decorated and extremely comfortable with all mod cons... More

We were greeted by the hosts Mike & Barbara, who were both charming and welcoming. Our first impression was what a beautifully cherished and maintained venue this was and the exceptional standard continued through out. Our room was spotless with all the facilities you could wish for. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again and would happily recommend Afon View to... More

We stayed here as a birthday treat for my husband and booked last minute on laterooms. We arrived expecting a rather nice b&b and were delivered with a B&B of hotel standards. Just beautiful! We had a four poster room with a view of greenery, an open fire and a stunning little double shower room. Everything was definitely a considered... More

We could only stay one night unfortunately (but at least we were allowed to book just one night, which can be difficult!). I have personally worked in the hotel business for over 10 years and this place is just SPECIAL. Felt more like a boutique hotel than a guest house. Lovely touches in the room and WOW I have not... The breakfasts were very good with a good & varied selection to choose from. Mike & Barbara were great hosts who made you feel... More

This was our second stay at Afon View. This time it was a special family occasion and our host Mike helped to make it more special. This friendly B&B is well located in the main street in easy reach of several good restaurants. Breakfasts were first class, as was the general cleanliness of the rooms. Highly recommended! More

Mike, the host, made us feel welcomed from the start until the check out: he knows how to deliver good service. The room was clean, double bed was comfortable, bathroom was small but very convenient, with good amenities (various types of shampoos and soaps, sewing kit, etc). The breakfast was simple but good: bacon, sausage, egg, toast, the essentials are... More
