We spent 2 nights in this quite charming guest house. This was an unforgettable experience of Welsh welcoming. We have been really pampered by the owner. The guest house is very quiet and offering a wonderful view on the valley, even from breakfast room. No doubt, to recommend thoroughly. more

The Tyn-y-Fron is located on A470, just north of it's junction with A5, near Betws-y-Coed. Lesley Porter is the proprietor and is both gracious and bubbly. Our room was super, and the view to the west was a knockout. She serves a wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. And the wireless internet actually worked!! (OK, I had to help her... more

Lesley Porter welcomed us to her delightful B&B in a very friendly manner. The spacious bedrooms were comfortable and had all those little touches which we appreciate, both in the bathroom and on the tea-making tray. The view across the Conwy valley towards Betws was wonderful. To sit by the huge picture window and look at this whilst eating an... more

We stayed here in the middle of March and had a wonderful time despite the weather. The welcome was very warm and the room was wonderful, with little extras that really made a difference. Walking across the suspension bridge in the dark is something to be remembered, and we also enjoyed the cafe at the Conway Falls (not the Falls... more

We wanted to get away for a few days for a change of scene and some much-needed rest and relaxation: Tyn-Y-Fron turned out to be the perfect place to do so. With stunning scenery in and around Betws-Y-Coed and a wonderfully warm welcome from Lesley and her husband, we quickly felt right at home. The B&B is comfortable and lovingly... more

Tyn-y-Fron was a highlight amongst the B&Bs we stayed in on our recent 3 week trip to Britain. Our room was quiet, spacious and tastefully decorated with a comfortable king-sized bed, modern ensuite and quality linens. Lesley is a gracious hostess who made us very welcome and offered helpful advice for activities and dining (Betws Bistrot was excellent). This historic... more

Greeted with a warm smile upon arrival and made to feel at home right from the start. Excellent setting though just a little too early to take advantage of the almost completed decking area wher I imagine future guests (me also) taking a cold beer on a beutiful sunset. Room was above standard and very comfy, fellow guests almost reluctant... more

What a place! Just stayed the one night and received an extremely warm welcome from Lesley and 'Tripod'. Great location, lovely room and fantastic breakfast to set me up for the day ahead. As a business traveller I stay away from home probably three nights a week and have endured all kinds of Dodgy B&B's. This is certainly not one... more
