Probably best to say at the outset, this is not a glamorous campsite, it is a farmers field with a shower block. There were sheep in the field (though could have gone to a different field further away from farmhouse and it was technically past the end of the open season), facilities such as a bar or shop are a... “Great location, albeit very hilly.”

The campsite is in a great location - only about a 10 - 15 minute walk until you're walking up Snowdon. The showers cost £1 and £0.50 respectively and are perfectly acceptable and were always clean. We have stayed in Llwyn Celyn Bach in May 2012 - it was a flying visit only so we had somewhere to put our heads down whilst marching up and down Snowdon in preparation for the Three Peaks Challenge.
