The staff were friendly, helpful and accomodating, the food was good, the rooms were clean and the setting was beautiful. Can't recommend YHA in general and Llanberis in particular highly enough. If I am ever in need of accomodation in Wales again, I will certainly stay here.

Well placed for exploring Snowdonia, this YHA is just a little up the mountain from Llanberis but well within walking distance. Right in the heart of Snowdonia, this YHA provides value for money and clean accomodation. Our party of eight slept in two rooms of 4 in eech. Bunk beds. This YHA is in an excellent location with friendly and very helpful staff. We stayed in a 6 bed bunk room with our children which was clean and tidy. Breakfast is worth paying for as there is plenty of choice and well cooked. We will be staying again.

Stayed three nights. 2 adults and 3 children. Spacious family rooms, en-suite bathrooms. Washing machine in drying room. Self catering kitchen is great if you have little kids that need milk heated up or food warmed. Lounge was full of friendly people. Clean and basic.
