A bit disappointed with my stay. I always think it takes a lot to impress me in a hotel for what you get for the price but oh God, I feel like Alan Partridge. Travelodge is just what it is I guess but I paid £60 for a room at short notice in mid December and I didn't get a... more

I paid £19 a night to stay 4 nights here in January 2009. At that price there's little grounds for complaint, but there are no circumstances under which I would pay much more than this for a Travelodge now. The good things about the Wrexham Travelodge is it's location, which allows easy access around the region, and the friendly reception... more

We had 3 nights stay here it was clean and friendkly but the only bad thing was beer cans etc outside our room back and front of the hotel no one seems to clear this mess up it does not look good to potential visitors but the person on duty were willing to offer me extra teabags instead of coffee... more

Not a bad Travelodge. Staff were keen for you to get in and be about your business. I asked for an extra pillow and it was a bit of stretch for them. Nice view of a slag pit from the window. This made a dramatic vista though. It's a Travelodge what more do you expect really. It may be time... more

With Travelodge offering their rooms at variable rates they are now a much better deal than Premier Inns / Travel Inns. The one in Wrexham is better than many of the other Travelodges I've visited - and I guess I've stayed in over 50 Travelodge / Travel Inns. The location is excellent - right on the Wrexham bypass, with easy... more

This is one of the better examples of the Travelodge chain - we paid £19 (yes £19) for a family room (double bed and a sofa which converts into 2 singles). The room was clean, in fairly good decorative order, and the hotel generally was clean and somewhat better maintained than some other travelodges we've stayed in. Reception were friendly... more

We stayed here for a couple of nights and thought it was fine. The rooms were clean and comfortable and cleaned each day. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all really friendly. There is a Little Chef next door which does brilliant breakfasts and gives discount if you are staying in the Travelodge. We would not... more

I stayed in the Wrexham Travelodge on July 15th, as the Chester hotels were all fully booked due to the races, and I can easily say it is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Our room smelt terrible, as did the corridors. Even the towels smelt funny. The rooms appear to have been designed for midgets, as you... more
