The staff were friendly and pleasent and I found the owners to be very charming people. Unfortunatly there was no one available to meet us when we arrived and we had to wait outside in the cold with luggage until someone turned up. Check up was effortless and the lady who did check us in was lovely. We had to... more

Stayed at The Grove in Wrexham for five consecutive weekends during March/April 2009. It is conveniently situated, has ample car parking and two supermarkets (Asda & Tesco) are situated a few minutes drive away. The town centre and railway station are approximately just over a ten minute walk away. The rooms are en suite, very clean, well stocked with tea... more

The room was shabby, it was very, very basic with ciggy burns in the basin and in a building that was being renovated. There was no one around to meet me and yet I had arranged my time of arrival previously. The owners knew that I was travelling alone on public transport and it was a sunday but it seemed... more

We spent three nights at the Grove Guest House. If was very clean (which is VERY IMPORTANT). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also very good. It made a trip to Wrexham to visit family, a very nice one. We would definitely stay again. more

Most rooms are spacious, most ensuite. More like a hotel than a B&B. There is on-site parking. There is no elevator but the steps are not difficult... more
