Myself and my husband stayed at the Pembroke Dock travel lodge for three nights and were joined by our daughter and 2 year old granddaughter on the second and third nights. The hotel was comfortable and suited our purpose. It was clean (and fairly new) and had tea and coffee facilities in the room which were topped up daily. The... more
Stayed for total of 3 nights, bookending 9 days in Cornwall. First night we arrived very late (1.30am) no problem at all checking in - contrary to a previous reviewers experience. Staff were very good, with the exception of one staff member who really should persue a career outside of hospitality. Maybe we just got her on a bad day!... more
Typical Travelodge. Not one of their finest locations. Surrounded by 4 supermarkets: I guess groceries are cheaper in Wales than Ireland and people stock up before boarding the nearby ferry. I used it as it is just 10 miles from Oakwood theme park. We stayed on Easter Monday for £26 and visited Oakwood the following day. The hotel does not... more
Incredibly simple furnishing that all looked brand new, smart clean bathroom ditto. Very comfortable bed! Pleasant, helpful lady on reception. Standard tea and coffee facilities in room and vending machines in reception. We were expecting something really manky but it was great. We gave their £4 breakfast bag a miss and went to Tesco as another reviewer had suggested, which... more
A clean buget room cheap and handy to ferry to Ireland, arrived late left early but from what I saw a good £26 worth more
We booked this hotel in the middle of August as a stopover the night before our ferry from nearby Fishguard to Ireland. We got the website's saver rate of £26 which, despite the hotel's problems, definitely made it good value for money. However, if we had paid the fully flexible rate of £65 (which is what we originally booked before... more
We booked this hotel back in January at GBP 26,- a night which at that time we thought was great value as even 10 years ago and ever since we have been paying double that for rooms at similar type of hotels accross the UK. We chose this hotel as a centrally located base for a 5 day break, with... more
No atmosphere however we wanted proximity to Tenby and this was all we could book for sat night of long weekend. OK room, no frills, poor setup. My gripe is we paid for 3 in the room and it should have been set up. We shouldn't have had to struggle with the bed late at night and go a long... more
We recently stayed at this Travelodge on our way back fom holidaying in Ireland. It is within a stones throw of the ferryport. We paid £26.00 for a family of four. It was unbelievable value for money. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. Staff were polite and efficient. Would highly recommend. more
