4 mature ladies set out on an adventure weekend staying on the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.

We arrived midday and our hosts were very welcoming in providing us with tea, coffee and biscuits.
Their working farmhouse is immaculately kept with tasteful furnishings and magnificent views. The two large family rooms with ensuite facilities have everything you could possibly need.

We all set off in very wet walking conditions and our circular walk took longer than we anticipated. It was getting dark at 4.45 pm and we were on a ridge at the back of the farmhouse, unable to find our bearings. Help was at hand as the owners came to our rescue in their farm 'buggy'.

We had a lovely meal at the Shoemakers Inn, near Senny Bridge, all home cooked food and a pub owned by the villagers.

We would all recommend this lovely farmhouse and area.
