Went to Bryngarw for dinner this week, all staff went out of their way to make dinner a fabulous evening. We were not rushed in anyway, the food was wonderful, I have been here many times, and hadnt been there for a few years until this week, it was for a special occasion, and we all certainly enjoyed the night.... more

Just got home from a wonderful night's stay at Bryngarw House. Recepton Staff were welcoming, efficient and polite. We booked one of their special deals- £65 for the night for the two of us, which included an evening meal and breakfast. What excellent value! After a leisurely stroll around the lovely autumnal gardens we had a truly delicious three course... more

Driving up the road towards the house is lovely, you feel a million miles from the city. Nice surroundings, plenty of walks (although it was raining so we didn't). On entering reception the staff were friendly but seemed a little out of touch with the hotel business, a little bit amaturish. We were offered one of the nicer rooms which... more

in brief, booked for a night. We were abruptly stopped at the main door and told we could not go in as 'a wedding was on'. We informed the person at the door we had booked for the night, they looked us up and down and decided to let us in. We were treated definately like 2nd class citizens as... more

Bryngarw House is owned by the local authority and is situated just off the M4 (junction 36). It is close to the Dunraven Coast and the shopping outlet at Bridgend. We stayed, as part of a large group, for 1 night at a special rate of £70 per room for dinner, bed and breakfast. I can only echo what another... more

My husband and I were married at Bryngarw House in March this year. We chose this venue, not only for the beautiful gardens and idylic and peaceful setting, but because we'd dined there before and the food, service, staff were amazing. The wedding was very affordable, too. On our first visit, you feel as though you're slowly making your way... more

This is a hotel and restaurant owned by the local authority and situated in a beautiful country park. I decided to take my partner for an overnight treat. We had some difficult booking; the person I spoke to was not the receptionist and apparently did not pass on the reservation correctly. Several confusing emails and phone calls ensued. On arrival,... more
