I'm only disappointed that I'd already booked my next nights accommodation as everything was wonderful, especially the hints and tips I got about the local area. The room was gorgeous and the breakfast delicious. If I'm ever in South Wales again, I will be back!

Only stayed one night on business, but it was a real gem. Didn't have massive expectations for the price, but welcome was warm, rooms were excellently presented with very comfy beds. Breakfast was also a treat. Will happily stay again when next in the area.

We stayed at Ballas Farm for two nights over the Easter weekend and when the weather was cold and windy outside the farmhouse was warm and very comfy inside. Rob and Liz were excellent hosts and have a lovely home and family. The choice and standard of our breakfasts was outstanding - beautifully prepared and enough to keep us going... More

We had a two night stay at ballas farm, very pleased, beds very comfy,en suite great too. Breakfast was fabulous and the whole place was clean as a whistle. Hosts were very friendly(but not in your face, which we liked) and accomodating to the excess of offering us a lift down into town as we were meeting friends for a... More

We were stopping here prior to a family wedding, myself and the wife and in the inlaws (and no it wasn't as torturous as you may imagine) Great beds, showers and rooms, and all round brilliantly tidy (freezing floors in the rooms though, slippers a must) Nice breakfast Nice lounge and dinning area The guys there are more than helpful,... We recently stayed one night at Ballas Farm before getting the ferry over to Ireland - and loved it so much we could have stayed there the whole week instead. We've stayed in many B&Bs, and found a number that we really enjoyed, and Ballas Farm is now firmly in our top five. If you appreciate immaculate style, elegant simplicity,... More

This is no ordinary B&B, Ballas Farm is top notch, pristine and has the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! It is so tranquil and relaxing, we wanted to stay longer! This place is like a 4 star hotel but much more personal. Fab breakfast, wonderful views and great hosts. We would recommend Ballas Farm to anyone. We... More

This is one of the best b&b's we have ever stayed and so pleased we found it. Husband and I ended up staying a further night which was so kindly accommodated by Liz and Rob. We both loved it from the minute we arrived. The surroundings and accommodation are wonderful...so peaceful and relaxing. Bed was so comfortable and ensuite was... More

Thank you for a wonderful stay Liz and Rob. You were both so accomodating from the start and handled the problems we had getting to you due to poor weather totally in your stride. Liz even took the time to ask about our dietry requirements before we arrived so she could cater for us during our stay - truly 5*... More

A group of us (4 ladies) stayed at Ballas Farm this last weekend whilst attending the Elvis festival at Porthcawl and fell in love with the building and grounds as soon as we saw it. The room was perfect and set out to accomodate the 4 of us comfortably, 4 single beds in a very spacious room with the most... More
