We stayed a couple of nights in Cardiff and were super excited with this hostel. Great location (in front of the Millenium Centre), nice staff, clean shared bathrooms. Breakfast was just what we needed and we felt right at home chatting with the other travellers. more

Everything has been thought of - from the kitchen to the lounge, rooms and outside. Abi and Charles put on a breakfast better than most hotels and supplied information on where to eat to how to get somewhere. I took my Mum and Dad (50's) and they thoroughly enjoyed staying there. more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riverhouse Backpackers. Our hosts were excellent. They couldn't do enough for us. Dorms and bathrooms were clean and beds comfortable. I stayed here with a group of friends for a stag do. The location is excellent, just across the river from the Millenium Stadium and five minutes walk from some of Cardiff's best night life. This is my first time checking into a backpacker's hostel. I've got to say i'm impressed with it. Charlie is great in welcoming...very cheerful & friendly. Overall the place is clean, very neat & tidy. And when it comes to $$$, it's worth it. Most importantly it felt safe for a solo female traveler like me. more
