This is my first time checking into a backpacker's hostel. I've got to say i'm impressed with it. Charlie is great in welcoming...very cheerful & friendly. Overall the place is clean, very neat & tidy. And when it comes to $$$, it's worth it. Most importantly it felt safe for a solo female traveler like me. more

River House is by mile, the best hostel I've stayed in. The entirely place is well kept and neat. The room and common areas are extremely cozy, it felt like home to me. A newer hostel, near Cardiff Castle, and walking distance to Cardiff Bay ( 20 min?). The staff were so wonderful, the hostel is gorgeously done and we were spoiled. I'll definitely be back for a stay when I'm in Cardiff. more

The riverhouse backpackers was by far the best hostel i've every stayed in. Charlie and Abi were super friendly and helpful. Central location, breaky was good, and it was so clean! Would definetely recommend it to anyone and i'd stay there again. more
