After paying £50 for the room we did not expect great things however the room was small but it was more than adequate. The location is great and staff were really friendly. The breakfast at £13 each was really expensive for what was on offer. I would stop again it would just depend on the price though. more

We chose to stay at the Barcelo due to the location for the U2 gig & to celebrate a birthday. On reading the other reviews I believe that we were extremely lucky?!!! Stayed at the hotel last weekend for the U2 concert. Room was spacious however problems with lights, phones and shower water pressure. Breakfast was a joke, food was in short supply as they kept running out of items. No bread, no butter. The staff appeared to have poor training and lacked manners. Avoid this place. more
