Hotel is ok at the most, rooms all in a seperate block, if you get a ground floor room you have access to a large garden area right outside the door which is great ! rooms are quite small but do the job. Location wise its a bit out of town, 10 min taxi into town or 45 min walk... more

A one night stay here because I couldn’t be bothered to look around and this was the first place the GPS came up with in the area and while I had heard of the chain I had never stayed in one before so decided to give it a go. The property is a basic no frill motel and the closest... more

My friend and i booked this hotel, when we went to cardiff to watch the rugby, wales V canada, and after reading some of the reviews were a little worried about staying here!! There is no need to worry at all, the hotel is fab!! Clean, comfortable and friendly. The staff MAREK, EMMA & ERIC were exceptionally great. Yes it... more

Stayed for 3 nights on a special offer whereby you only pay for 2 nights in August 2008. The hotel is at the end of a small industrial estate. There is free carparking although the car park is situated on a slope. The bedrooms are located in a separate building across the car park from the reception building which also... more

I am writing this now at 3.05am while my husband is finding other hotel to stay! He arrived at the hotel just now (2am) and no one was at the front desk. He tried to knock and call the hotel for more than half an hour. He booked the hotel via Hotel.com and it stated that "24 hours front desk",... more

This was the only not too expensive hotel accomodation I could find at short notice. Like others I was concerned about the reviews I had read but I couldnt have been more suprised. Helpful staff allowed us to check in early and the room was clean. Comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good value - and the... more

I booked this hotel at the last minute, it was cheap and available on a very busy week-end in Cardiff (the rugby was on as well as the Kaiser Chiefs) After I read some of the reviews on this website I thought about cancelling my reservation but decided even a rubbish hotel was better than a 2 hour journey home.... more

Cups for making coffee were both dirty, had not been replaced after last guests. Longstanding cobwebs everywhere. The toilet seat had not been cleaned properly and was dirty. The bed had a big hole in the middle. Very disappointed as have stayed in other Campanile hotels and were always clean. Would not recommend it and would not stay again. more

I booked two nights at this hotel before reading the reviews. After reading the reviews I wished I had booked somewhere else. On arriving at the hotel I came to the conclusion that some people expect a bit too much for £43 per night!! The room was basic but clean and containing all the essentials ; TV, internet connection, tea... more
