Cardiff Novotel is about 10 mins' walk from the main train station and about equal time from the Bay, so handy for being near to all the shops, restaurants etc. The hotel is on a main road but a lot of the accommodation is around the back. I stayed here with a friend at the end of August. The hotel was clean and most of the staff were very helpful but there was a few who just didnt want to be there and treated you as you were an inconvience to say the least. We booked this through the website, at the last minute and were very happy. Our room was very big, with panoramic view over the city. The breakfast was extra, but very nice. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We would stay here again! more

Me and my gf stayed in the Novotel in Cardiff for 2 nights and were very pleased with the service and the helpfulness of the staff. we got a great deal online and when we checked in they upgraded us to an executive suite. Very happy indeed and would recommended this hotel to anyone. more
