The hotel itself was lovely and the staff very nice. however our room had not been cleaned thoroughly enough. when i went to have a shower i noticed the shower mat was very dirty. one of the walls also had stickers on it?!!?? very odd......however when i went to complain, the receptionist was very nice and offered our money back... more

We stayed here for one night with my elderley Mother-in-Law. It worked out really well and she said she had her best night's sleep for ages. Rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean (though the first room we were allocated had not been serviced, so we had to move to another one). Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good quality. more

Our second stay at this Premier Inn. Room was spacious and clean, nice bathroom with bath and shower, bed was big and comfortable, bit stingy with the tea, coffee, etc but I asked for more and got a month's supply! Eat in the restaurant, food was basic but good and reasonably priced, waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was... more

We had booked this hotel for a two night stay over Easter. I had booked directly with the hotel over the phone and the staff were great. I got a written confirmation confirming the booking and guarunteeing the room types (one double, one twin, interconnecting). As we walked into the hotel and approached reception, the receptionist turned away and began... more

This was an awful hotel, if it can even be called a hotel. When we checked it, in looked perfectly fine then we got to our room and the smell was disgusting. We had to leave straight away because the standard was so poor and it was like one of those trashy motels that they show on American tv. Stay... more

Its £56 a night, £7.50 for an all you can eat breakfast and kids under 16 eat free! Good night's sleep guarantee too. Excellent budget hotel accommodation, bedroom was too hot so they refunded our money, what more can you ask? Staff very friendly and breakfast staff exceptional. Bedrooms clean and good quality furniture. Can't fault it for what it... more

Stayed here twice last year for leisure, which was the first time since Premier Travel Inn took over the hotel (as it was previously a Holiday Inn and before that Posthouse and it was good then but needed some work on it. I have to say the hotel has improved since the change as PTI has upgraded the hotel, the... more

Awful hotel... booked twin rooms. Didn't get them. One room stunk beacuse there had been a flood in it. Staff were rude and ignorant. Never again. Stay well clear. more

Was in Cardiff for the rugby and although we booked 4 months in advance the only room I could get was in the Holiday Inn Cardiff North paying a huge total of 201GBP for two nights. The reception area, bar and restaurant are all very nice, deceivingly nice perhaps. We were on the top floor of the hotel, the hallway... more

For some reason most holiday inns seem to be old 60's style buildings. While most are modern inside, this one is not in the rooms and corridors. There was a strong musty smell throughout and although the pool is nice, the shower curtains in the changing rooms were covered in mold. However the restaurant (both food and service) and lounge... more
