Just a brief review, Room very shabby, sons sofa bed falling to bits, furniture threadbare, bare walls- no pics, no toiletries, lift not working. Went to the hotel bar after we'd been to the Cardiff International Arena and they wouldn't serve us- they were closing, it wasn't even 10.30! Stayed here on business for one night only thankfully. The hotel had no lift due to refurbishment and the rooms whilst very big are quite grotty by travelodge standards. The kettle was dirty ( menat to be white but looked like somebody with oily hands hand been using it ) so I did not bother using the cups in case... more

Basically, it's just as bad as everyone else says it is. Cold, dirty, tatty, broken windows, just dire. I slept with the TV on because the place was just so creepy. more

My Mom and I spent 4 nights in Travellodge Cardiff Central. We were pleased by the stay due to its place in Cardiff, were it is very near the City Centre.
