I recently booked this hotel for 3 nights based on its central locality and that it caters for groups e.g. stags, this was according to its website. We were a group of lads attending a football match and this seemed to fit our needs. The rooms were small and grotty. The bed covers were discoloured with the pillow being more... more

We paid £110 a night for this place. I am not a regular of the four-season but I expected a lot more for my hard earned money!!! It was nothing like the photos on their website. What a grotty, dated place. I have truly stayed in better backpackers. The rooms were dusty, with evidence of sick stains on the carpets.... more

Well, you get what you pay for I guess. Basic accommodation in a great location. Helpful and courteous staff made up for slightly shabby rooms which if near the club are noisy. more

We stayed here for the weekend whilst on my future sister in-laws Hen Party. We were greeted and looked after through out our stay by the friendly staff. The rooms were very good for the price which we paid. We were joined by other Hen and Stag parties and we joined in at the club, which yes is loud if... more

On a recent visit to my familly in Cardiff, I stayed once again at the Wynford Hotel,I found it to be just as warm and friendly as ever. All the facilities are there of a large hotel with, a small hotel atmosphere.Right in the city centre, a great nightclub on the weekend, and good value for money.Would not stay anywhere else,... more

Having stayed numerous times, I feel the Wynford deserves a very good mention. Busy at weekends (as ever for the millenium stadium) -I've always had great service from the staff. They are friendly and attentive. It has a night club which is popular with the locals, and the bar is good fun. Rooms are good- and if you want quiet,... more

Standards of cleanliness not brilliant. There was dust and 'bits' behind the headboard. The shower over the bath could not be used. The bathroom was cold with no visible form of heating. Having said that, the sheets were clean, the breakfast was good and there was parking. I would have expected more for the £100 though. more

This hotel is nothing more than a grotty B&B, with central location the only thing going for it. We were charged £100 per night and then charged an extra £50 for a two year old to sleep on an old mattress on the floor! The beds were awfull, the bathrooms disgusting, and the staff were just plain rude. At the... more

What a weekend! I have been to many hotels around the UK, but I helped organise a trip for my Rugby Club in Knutsford to go to Cardiff on our annual rugby tour to take in the Heineken Cup final which this year was in Cardiff, and I have found one of the friendliest in the UK. We booked the... more
