Penrhys is an attractive building located in a fairly pleasant residential district of Cardiff. Booked by telephone but they even got the dates wrong so no room available unless we changed after first night. Decor left a lot to be desired. Twin beds had different bedding. Just got back from staying in the Penrhys hotel. I didnt expect much as I booked at the last minute and there wasnt much else available. Only stayed one night in Cardiff, but we chose well at Penrhys. Nice clean, good-sized room, good breakfast, friendly staff and only about 25 mins stroll to city centre - although on bus route if needed. Parking at rear but we left it outside in Cathedral Road (amazingly unrestricted parking so close to a city centre). more
