Having decided on a whim to travel with our daughter who was attending a friends birthday party in Newport, we called Hazel Court at 9pm on the Friday evening asking for two rooms for the following day. Stayed for three nights while on business in Newport, I can only describe it as first class. I've stopped in numerous guest houses / B&Bs in Cardiff, Usk, Caerleon, Newport, etc. recently and this is the best. Location is extremely useful, being close to both the M4 and the Newport "bypass" but with no road noise whatsoever. A truly beautiful... more
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights last week. It was homely, comfortable, clean and superb breakfast. The hosts were friendly but not intrusive. The Guest House is up a very secluded lane which was wonderful to negotiate as long as you didn't meet traffic coming the other way. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Newport or... more
