I stayed at this hotel during a business trip as the Celtic Manor was sold out. It was really a find. The grounds and the old building were quaint. I had a huge room and bathroom with lovely furnishings. The breakfast was typical for the UK and I have no complaints. Parking was easy, the proximity to the roman ruins... more

The Priory is in the middle of Caerleon and you can walk 5 mins to the Roman remains in town. The grounds are good and the rooms OK. We were travelling with 2 kids and they attached a rather uncomfortable steel bed to a sofa. The literature in the room tended to focus on all the things you coud'nt do... more
