It was my first time in Wales and i read reasonably decent reviews of this hotel on another site, i decided to give it a go. First off, the hosts: Mike and John, were so friendly and fantastic, it was a real pleasure to interact with them at breakfast or last thing at night before i turned in. They were extremely hospitable. I stayed in a single ensuite, it was clean, it had coffee/tea facilities. The washroom was tidy and clean. I was told when i arrived that my room was ready except that the cleaner had spilled some water near the bed but that it would dry. I thanked them for telling me and i was fine with that. However i noticed by the 4th night the ground was still wet. I suspect the roof must have a leak and that's why the carpet in spots was perpetually wet. As i was just a visiting guest and not a permanent resident or student there, i decided to not pursue further. However constantly having wet socks as i would forget where i needed to avoid was a bit of a pain. The... more
