Stayed for one night when accompanying son to swansea Uni open day. Really liked this hotel, the family room was a very good size, beds really comfy, bedding and towels were crisp and sparkling white! Decor was lovely with nice added touches such as dimmer switches, table lamps and cushions. The downstairs area were really nice. Decor was tasteful, staff... more

I stayed on a Friday night whilst on a course at the nearby Swansea University. I paid £50 for bed and breakfast, with free wifi, and free parking in the hotel’s own small car park. This seemed to compare reasonably well against approx £65-70 for the same when all extra costs are added in, for a last minute booking in... more

We had 3 nights here in August and were delighted with the warm hospitality of the staff and the arty quirkiniess of the rooms. We swapped rooms to get something a bit bigger once it became available and were very happy with the standard of bedding and furnishings. When we were too knackered to leave in the evening, the owner... more

Room was poor, light bulbs not working, missing door knob on wardrobe, lock missing on bathroom door, worn carpets, wallpaper coming off the walls. tables not cleared and set for breakfast, small carpark only enough spaces for 8 cars although 20 rooms! Good position for city centre, staff friendly. need to make some up grades. more

Loved it!

My wife, an adult son, and I stayed in a family room, Room 14, in mid-June for 3 nights. We've visited Great Britain many times over the years and stayed in many B&Bs. We absolutely loved The Windsor Lodge. Our room was large, with big windows providing lots of light and cross-ventilation, and we had a lovely view over roof... more

After 4 days of travelling staying in various hotels across England and Wales, I couldn’t have dreamt up a more accommodating hotel than this one. Rooms clean and quiet, beds very comfortable, all staff helpful, welcoming, and easy to get along with. Slept very well even with an open window. This is obviously a privately run hotel and is a... more

A lovely building, but there were a few problems with the stay. Firstly the room faced a busy road and the window was broken so the entire sash was open, and there was only secondary glazing which has no sound proofing whatsoever. There was also considerable noise within the hotel (besides the fac t that there was shouting from other... more

The Windsor Lodge is located just a short walk from the city centre but is in a fairly quiet location. Our room was a bit on the small side and could have done with some re-decoration but was fine for a short weekend break. The staff were extremely professional and helpful, the breakfast was very good and the free internet... more

Undeniably individual and special. This small hotel has class at a good price, exceptional for singles like me, a great atmosphere and is justly recommended in Frommers international guide . Centrally located less than ten minutes from everything. Superb lounge and mini library. Bed and breakfast faultless. Only downside was hopeless check out and short steep climb up from main... more
